| I have been working on many forms of what the final computer might look like, both mobile and not. But now I'm convinced that the only way to use a computer is when you are able to be productive on the thing and you can't be productive without a keyboard; so here is the first hardware solution to the long term problem: energy consumption and ergonomics, working on 5v and 12v supply from lead-acid 12v with 220v and wind+solar charging. Maximum 15" monitors can be powered by 12v apparently. Finally found a USB DAC that is cheap and good (C-Media HS-100B). I use many small 50Ah batteries in parallel so I can configure them in series to power my 36v electric bike elhjul.se too. |
